Welcome.
DreamsNet is a research group within the Department
of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science
at Syracuse
University.
Our research focuses on designing and applying algorithms for control, optimization and management of sensor networks. Recent advances in computationa/hardwarel processing power have enabled use of more powerful algorithms like bayesian networks and swarms. DreamsNet is breaking boundaries by designing these algorithms for some classic signal processing problems. The team has successfully designed algorithms to manage signal processing for a network of radars, a network of biometric sensors.
DreamsNet currently has 9 members and is led by Lisa Osadciw. Each and every member of our team come from varied academic background and this enables us to work on multifaceted problems related to wireless sensor networks and signal processing techiniques.
DreamsNet researchers support SU's educational
goals through the design of in-class projects,
demonstrations, and topic discussions. The goal
of the team is to further research in wireless
intelligent sensors and provide the necessary
educational background to grow future researchers
in this area.
Our research is alot of fun, exhilarating and rewarding. For more information about our research, visit the Publications & Research section
