Schedule A Visit

LCS is an exciting community nestled on Syracuse University's beautiful campus. To get a really great feel for the College and for the campus, we encourage you and your family to visit. You'll be able to see for yourselves all of the great things that we have to offer to our students.

Daily Visitation
The Office of Admissions provides daily information sessions and campus tours to prospective students and their families. Information sessions are led by a member of the Admissions Committee and they provide a nice general overview of the University. Campus tours are led by current students and they give visitors a glimpse into life on campus. Please visit the Office of Undergraduate Admissions for more information.

College appointments (Monday – Friday)
Individual appointments can be made to meet with an LCS representative to learn more about specific undergraduate programs, specialized opportunities, and facilities. Please call 315-443-2582 to check on availability or email Binh Huynh, undergraduate recruitment specialist, at bqhuynh@syr.edu

LCS Saturdays  (October 17, 24, and 31)
Special Saturday information sessions will be held for prospective students interested in the undergraduate programs offered by the L.C. Smith College of Engineering and Computer Science (LCS). The event will give students and families the opportunity to learn more about LCS, tour some of the facilities, and meet current LCS students. We encourage you to attend the general information program and campus tour through the Office of Admissions prior to attending the session at L.C. Smith. For more information, visit LCS Saturdays. Please call the Office of Admissions at 315-443-3611 to register.

Admissions Interview
Syracuse University does not require an interview for admission. However, we do encourage you to take advantage of the opportunity to meet one-on-one with a member of the Admissions Committee to discuss your application in more detail. On-campus interviews are conducted weekdays during the fall semester in the Admissions Office. Members of the Admissions staff also conduct interviews on the road in various metropolitan areas across the United States during the fall semester. For more information about interviews, please visit interviews.

Attending a Class
By making arrangements in advance, prospective students are welcome to attend class with one of our current students. If you are interested in this activity, please contact Binh Huynh (telephone: 315-443-2582) at least two weeks prior to your visit. We will arrange to have one of our current students serve as your host for the day. We'll even treat you to lunch at one of campus dining centers!

It is important to remember that the availability of class visits is dependent on the academic calendar. While we will always do our best to accommodate your requests, we do not schedule class visits during midterms, final exams, or at other critical points during the semester.
