Why join AEW?

Participating in the AEW program is an experience not to be overlooked. The well-designed and fun structure make each session an enjoyable learning event. The program is for any ECS student who wishes for a better understanding of the basics of engineering. Participants are required to attend a weekly, two-hour workshop in which he/she will try to complete a structured problem set with the guidance of the peer facilitator. Each problem set follows closely along with your regular course material. However, these problem sets are not graded. Participation and attendance are your only criteria.

AEW Workshops are currently offered in the following courses:

  • -
  • ECS 102 - Intro. to Computing
  • ECS 221 - Statics
  • ECS 222 - Dynamics
  • MAT 194 - Pre-Calculus
  • MAT 295 - Calculus I
  • MAT 296 - Calculus II
  • MAT 397 - Calculus III
