Biochemical Engineering

Meets: Tu, Th. 5:00 - 6:20 p.m.
Course Description: Introduction to microbiology,
genetic engineering, and enzyme kinetics. Engineering
principles for bioprocesses, including oxygen and heat
transfer, bioreactor design, and separation processes.
Introduction to novel systems and technologies in
biochemical engineering.
The course is open to graduate and upper class
engineering and science students.
Prerequisites: CHE 275, 346; CEN 333 or equivalent.
