wavelet selection, wavelet transform formulae and algorithms,
relation to Fourier transform, application to discrete data,
interpretation, examples.
- Lecture 2:
Parseval theorem for continuous wavelets, wavelet spectra,
local spectra, conditional spectra, examples from near-wake
turbulence, boundary-layer transition, unsteady transition
in gas turbine.
- Lecture 3:
Inverse transform and algorithms, unsteady filtering and event eduction,
correlations, examples, pitfalls.
