Today we discuss the results of the Midterm Examination. I will be handing back graded exams and discussing my solutions to each of the exam questions.
  1. The Syllabus describes topics to be covered, reading material for you to digest before coming to class, and due dates for the assigned projects.
  2. I've placed a Midterm Makeup Examination in the Projects folder for CSE687. You will find 20 questions, all of which you do as a take-home examination. If you do them all very well, then I will raise your midterm grade to 85, but no higher. If there are significant flaws in your submission, then I will not change your current midterm grade. If your grade is higher than 82, you won't have much to gain from this effort, and probably should elect to spend your time working on the final project.

The TAs and I will discuss any of the questions on the makeup with you, showing you exactly how to prepare an answer. But, we will not do that for all the questions. You need to save your questions for those few things you really don't know how to handle.
  3. Here are links to my solutions for Exam#1Exam#2Exam#3Exam#4 and code which illustrates many of the answers code-demos-for-many-of-the-questions.
  4. Lecture #20 folder contains a page of links to presentations and code discussed in this class. The Lecture folders will occasionally hold physical files of interest as well. Usually, however, all the materials of interest to the class are in the presentations and code folders. The contents of these folders will grow as you progress through the course.
